EDGAR PULLS STRINGS FOR CLASSY CITY

CITY of Liverpool progress in the FA Cup after a magnificent win against National League North side Farsley Celtic at the VanEupen Arena.
The Purps took the lead from the spot courtesy of skipper Nathan Burke, after James Salkeld was felled in the box following good work by Jay Edgar.
City of Liverpool were much the better side and extended their advantage after 74 minutes when substitute Salkeld beat the offside trap and cut in from the left before hammering an unstoppable effort into the top corner from 20 yards.
