■ SAM Smith’s brace saw Handsworth celebrate a superb win at previously unbeaten higher-level Halesowen.
The hosts dominated firsthalf possession but had little end-product. And the Ambers took a shock 39th-minute lead when home captain Paul McCone slipped allowing Reece Kane to poke home.
Little changed after the break with Handsworth’s defence battling away against a wasteful Yeltz, who hit the post through McCone. The Ambers then doubled their lead in the 63rd minute through Smith’s audacious 35-yard lob over Platt.
