■ ALTHOUGH ending goalless this was a match far from lacking in goalmouth incident.
The first half saw the home team totally dominant in terms of possession, but failing to convert the many chances created.
With Glossop’s back four under constant pressure, keeper Harry Allen calmly dealt with shots on target and used his height to advantage in intercepting crosses.
Making two half-time substitutions, the away team came back into the game carving out several opportunities of their own but squandering them in the same way the home team had earlier.
