The visitors got on the front foot early with Luke Read having a header cleared off the line, and multiple Robins opportunities blocked by last-ditch Ambers challenges.
Cheshunt’s Joe Re had a low drive well saved by Robins keeper Lloyd Thomas, while Ken Charles’ dipping free-kick didn’t quite dip enough.
