■ SITTINGBOURNE maintained their 100 per cent home league start with a tight win over Phoenix Sports.
The home side edged in front just before the break after dominating possession, having seen Phoenix hit the woodwork twice through Jeff Duah-Kessie.
Phoenix keeper Steve Phillips spilled Taylor Fisher’s cross and Ahmed Abdulla drove home the rebound.
The lead was doubled after half-time when Kane Rowland – for the second game in a row – netted as the visitors couldn’t clear a free-kick.
