GOSPORT Borough took their chances to seal three points against a much reshuffled Dorchester Town side which included two new signings.
One newcomer, Flavio Tavares, set up Alfie Stanley but he could only fire wide in the sixth minute.
Before then, Bradley Tarbuck’s earlier effort for Borough had been saved by Magpies keeper Alan Walker-Harris while his later second effort rolled past just the Dorchester post.
