BAMBER BRIDGE withstood late pressure to gain a handy win at Grantham.
The visitors went close with just five minutes on the clock when Ewan Bange headed a great chance wide. However, the Blackpool loanee made amends, nodding home a free-kick from close range to break the deadlock.
Grantham slowly grew into the game, testing Mateusz Hewelt in the Bamber Bridge goal with a free kick, before Jonathan Wafula squandered two opportunities to level the scores, heading an Adi Aydemir cross narrowly wide and failing to beat Hewett with a close range effort....
