MERSTHAM took the points in this uninspiring match, with one early and two very late goals.
The Moatsiders went ahead on four minutes when Chace Jacquart’s through-ball split the home defence asunder and Dillon Adjei-Hersey side-footed past Casuals’ keeper Danny Bracken.
It was then a matter of half-chances for both sides in a poor first half.
Casuals’ Alfie Bendle, Bobby Mills, Emmanuel Mensar and Ricardo Thompson all hit long efforts either wide or at Merstham keeper Toby Bull, while Bracken was not unduly trouble...
