IBRAHIM Meite’s penalty on 74 minutes ensured that Wingate & Finchley came away with a point, having been behind since the fifth minute.
Meite successfully converted from 12 yards with a confident left-footed strike into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, sending Robins keeper Lloyd Thomas the wrong way,
Striker Lewis White opened the scoring when he capitalised on a defensive error and coolly finish low to Wingate keeper Ben Goode’s left.
But the Robins failed to capitalise on their first half superiority.
