HIGH-flying Farnborough downed the Magpies with a superb display of flowing football – and the only surprise was that their 40 goal attempts produced only two goals.
The Boro were quickly into their stride and never let up. The elusive Reggie Young had their first shot, then he tricked his way to the byeline for Elliott Buchanan to fire wide of a gaping goal.
The visitors took their turn to pepper the home goal as Ricky Holmes, Alfie Saunders and recent loan signing Joshua Fawole all tested young keeper Billy Terrell.
