BOTH these National League North rivals earned their place in the first round draw after a well contested cup-tie at St James Park that neither did quite enough to deserve the win.
Brackley started well, Guiseley keeper Luke Jackson saving from Shep Murombedzi and Wes York firing wide.
And the Saints were rewarded when Lee Ndlovu opened the scoring with a cool finish on 25 minutes put through by Twariq Yusuf for his sixth goal of the season.
