ANDRE Landell’s penalty miss proved crucial as he wasted the chance to give the Pitmen a 3-1 lead and Jade Ferron equalised with seven minutes to go.
A superb cross from Shaquille Master on the left found Andre Brown at the near post who hammered home to give Hednesford the lead in the 27th minute. Dan Sweeney should have done better with a chance moments later but placed his shot wide.
A late foul on Brown by Asa Charlton, resulted in a booking for the Redditch man, with the home support calling for a red card.
