AN 11-0 drubbing proved the last straw for Wisbech St Mary boss Stuart Beckett after 10 defeats in a row left them pointless and entrenched at the bottom of the Eastern Counties Division One North.
Popular former player Beckett quit after last Saturday’s mauling at Norwich CBS, and has been replaced by Paul Hunt, who led Swaffham Town to promotion three years ago.
Hunt said that the hammering was “a very low point on which to leave,” adding “the club has rightly taken time to appoint the right person.”
