Marginal Gains as Trinity triumph

GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY made it seven games unbeaten with a gritty victory over Atherton Collieries.
It wasn’t all plain sailing for the Holy Blues though, as Jack Lenehan should have twice done better for Atherton, before Bradley Grayson continued his fine run of form in front of goal, firing past Luke Hutchinson to give Gainsborough the lead against the run of play.
On the half hour mark, Hutchinson had to react to push a Lewis Butroid free kick away from danger.
