■RAMSBOTTOM overcame five matches without scoring and seven without a win as they dominated Newcastle Town.
Goals from Jamie Rother, Tom Hartley, Hugo Rodriquez and Sam Twist were what did the damage to Newcastle.
Ramsbottom started the game as they meant to go on, dominating possession and having chances early on in the game. Rother gave the home side the lead after 19 minutes when he slotted home from 18 yards. The home side doubled their lead in the 53rd minute via Hartley’s wellstruck effort.
