ROVERS TOO POWERFUL FOR BOATMEN

PAULTON proved too strong for the visitors and would have taken an early lead but for the heroics of Sholing keeper Ryan Gosney who kept the home side in the game.
Paulton eventually opened the scoring through Will Harvey in the 21st minute.
Sholing didnt mount their first attack until the 25th minute, but Dan Mason’s shot was well saved.
Rovers hit a post just before half-time as they searched for a second.
