AFTER a quiet first half with very few chances, the second half came alive in the 52nd minute.
Swans centre half Nathan Dennis ran the ball from his own box through the middle of the park to put Toumani Sidibe in on goal, but Sidibe was pulled down, giving the home side a penalty.
Sidibe stepped up and saw his low shot saved by Ross Casey, however Mike Ford reacted quickest to slam the ball into the net.
Slimbridge soaked up a long spell of pressure from the visitors with Korey Pring clearing off the line with ten minutes left.
