LEATHERHEAD supersub Aderi Dede struck twice in the last seven minutes to move the Tanners off bottom spot and consign East Thurrock to their seventh consecutive home defeat.
It was a poor game which had relegation six-pointer written all over it, despite the sides’ seasons being only a third complete.
The Rocks created the first of the afternoon’s few chances when Ryan Mallett’s shot was saved at the second attempt by Tanners keeper Myles Bowman.
