■ AFTER nearly three months without a win Glossop finally came away with all three points.
They took the lead just before half-time when Keaton Mulvey was brought down by Bootle keeper Ryan Jones.
The referee awarded The Hillmen a penalty which Jamie Rainford slotted past Jones.
GNE started quickly in the second half, hitting the bar.
They capitalised on the pressure when Mitch Glover went one-on-one with Jones and as he was about to pull the trigger he was brought down for another penalty. Glover made no mistake from the spot.
