■ TWO goals midway through the first half ensured that Cambridge City and Sporting Khalsa shared the points.
The visitors took the lead when Josh McKenzie converted a cross. However, the home side levelled from the restart when Mikey Davis was on hand to fire home.
City, who were missing several key players, had their task hampered further when they lost striker Ryan Ingrey through injury. But it was Khalsa who came closest to regaining the advantage on the stroke of half-time as an effort hit a post.
