■ BURY had to work hard for the victory with Romford pushing them all the way.
An Early chance for Romford came with Chaka Barnett’s ball over the Bury defence finding David Luzolo in on goal, but a brilliant sliding tackle from Ollie Fenn sent the ball out of play.
It was Bury who struck first after 34 minutes with Cemal Ramadan slotting home from close range after some good build up play.
