■ A GOAL just before halftime from Ware’s Taufee Skandari was enough to separate the teams at Broadwater in front of another good crowd.
Berkhamsted played the better football for much of the first half, but Ware competed hard. Skipper Louis Rose and his centre-back partner gobbled up many long balls from the home side.
Lucas Kirkpatrick hit a post for Berko and in the second half Chris Arthur struck the crossbar, so there was only one goal in the game.
