Mistake leaves Banbury cross

CONNOR Roberts’ own goal just before halftime consigned ten-man Banbury to their second FA competition exit in a week.
Roberts’ misfortune was compounded when the visitors were reduced to ten men for the final quarter.
But hosts Farnborough were unable to take advantage of their man advantage and were ultimately grateful to Roberts for their passage into tomorrow’s draw.
