■ PAULTON’S enterprising first-half performance gave a gallant Cinderford too much to do in the second half.
After 13 minutes, Liban Ibrahim won the ball in midfield and sent Ed Butcher away on the right, and his cross was sidefooted home by Leighton Thomas for his 14th goal of the season.
Six minutes later, Butcher’s corner came back to him and his shot was deflected in for the second.
