SOLIHULL MOORS and Notts County suffered late heartbreak in their pursuit of a place in the second round.
Moors put up a great fight against League One Wigan Athletic and took the lead just after half-time courtesy of Adam Rooney’s penalty.
The lead, however, lasted less than 20 minutes, as Jason Kerr restored parity for the 2013 FA Cup winners.
Wigan took advantage when Callum Lang headed in a free-kick to put Wigan ahead just before the interval in extra-time.
