GROUNDHOPPERS will have the unique opportunity to watch Okehampton Argyle AFC by train for the first time since 1972 this weekend.
For almost 50 years there have been no scheduled services to the Dartmoor-based town.
But this month the line re-opened as an official part of the UK rail network with a two-hourly service from Exeter St David’s to Okehampton.
After consultations between the South West Peninsula League and Argyle, the league has announced a one-off Train Hoppers Day on Saturday.
