HOBSON’S CHOICE IS A HAT-TRICK

LEAMINGTON crashed out of the Trophy at the first hurdle against divisional rivals Alfreton; Bailey Hobson hitting a hat-trick to take his tally to four in two games against the Brakes this season.
The visitors enjoyed more of the play and moved ahead on 63 minutes.
Josh Clackstone sent in a right-wing centre for the alert Hobson to head the ball inside Jake Weaver’s far post.
Alfreton doubled their lead on 77 when Matt Rhead collected a long ball and lifted it across for Hobson to place into an empty net with Weaver out of position.
