■ CARLTON lost at home for the first time this season as Stamford deservedly won at Stoke Lane.
The Daniels dominated the first half with a strong wind at their backs, but failed to really test Kieran Preston in the Carlton goal. That was until the 40th minute - when ex-Miller Connor Bartle hit a stunning 25-yard drive into the top corner of the net.
The Millers equalised shortly before half time when Aaron Opoku fired home past Danny Haystead.
