TWO GOALS in four minutes at the end of the first half secured victory for third-placed Halesowen against determined Daventry.
The Yeltz started brightly, but found Daventry goalkeeper James Martin in fine form. Martin saved when Chris Lait was free in the 2nd minute and blocked again five minutes later from Simeon Cobourne with Brad Birch’s rebound also cleared. Martin then held onto Jordan Goddard’s 15th minute effort after Birch’s good work.
