■BARNSTAPLE finally collected their first point of the season at the 19th attempt.
The visitors got off to the worst possible start as Kye Simpson put Mangotsfield in front after 14 minutes, going through on goal and side-footing home.
Barnstaple hit back four minutes later through a Ryan Keates screamer from 18 yards.
The Field were soon back in front, Daniel McBeam scoring from the spot following a foul on Wayne Nderemani.
