■ AFTER two disappointing league results, Ware responded to manager Paul Halsey’s demands for improvement by punishing Wantage with the club’s best league result since the 1950s.
Taufee Skandari might have scored in the first minute but delayed his shot for just too long. However, he wasn’t to be denied and finished the afternoon with two goals.
Albert Adu capped a good performance to score one while Liam Hope was another to get two.
Josh Williams became the third player to get a double, but it was Liam Dulson who took the plaudits.
