BURGESS Hill bounced back after last week’s defeat to Corinthian by beating high-flying Ashford United.
It was a scrappy first half with lots of yellow cards and not a great deal of chances. Ashford edged it but it was goalless at the break.
Second half was similar, Ashford were on top, pressing and probing but couldn’t beat Taylor Seymour.
