EXTRA time looked on the cards as Matlock and York cancelled each other out in the game of few clear-cut chances until the experienced Mark Beck struck in injury time to edge the National League North side.
It was harsh on Matlock, who had been the better side for the first hour until the Minstermen came on strong towards the end.
