■ RAMSBOTTOM took all three points after a hard-fought win at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium
Ramsbottom faced their first home game in four weeks against the City of Liverpool as they battled to the very end to take all three points in this mid-table clash.
The only goal of the game came from midfield maestro Jamie Rother after 50 minutes when he smashed home from the edge of the 18-yard box.
Both teams had numerous chances to take the lead before this, but neither was able to capatalise on the opportunities that came their way.
