■ PAULTON ran out as com-fortable winners against nine-man Melksham Town.
After some early pressure from the visitors’ forwards, Liban Ibrahim sent winger Ed Butcher away to stride forward and glide the ball past Matthew Hall to give Rovers the lead.
Just two minutes later, Butcher’s cross was met by Jack Ball, who made it 2 - 0.
The start of the second-half saw tempers flare and a sending off for Town’s Ryan Morgan for two yellow cards.
Paulton capitalised in the 68th minute through a powerful Leighton Thomas header.
