DORKING Wanderers grabbed top spot with a narrow victory over a battling Hampton & Richmond side.
The Beavers took the lead in the 12th minute as Ruaridh Donaldson managed to get on the end of Jake Gray’s cross to head home past Dan Lincoln in the Dorking goal.
The visitors equalised on 34 minutes. Dan Gallagher was deemed to have been pushed in the box by Hampton’s David Fisher to the surprise of much of the ground. Jason Prior fired home the spot-kick.
