TRURO City avenged their opening defeat by Hendon by beating the Greens at Silver Jubilee Park.
The White Tigers had the game’s first two attempts, Owen Beavon seeing his shot saved and William Dean sending a rasping drive just wide.
Liam Brooks nearly opened the scoring for Hendon when he crashed a shot off the top of the bar and a couple of other Greens efforts were dealt with by James Hamon.
The response from Truro was another off-target effort, albeit narrowly, from Andrew Neal.
