WORKINGTON went top of the table after beating 1874 at Townfield.
The home side started brightly and were rewarded when Jamie Reed finished well from a cross on the 13th minute.
The visitors equalised with a fine flowing move, a back heel found Brad Carroll who finished well to bring the scores level.
Workington took the lead through Reuben Jerome who reacted quickest to a rebound to finish smartly.
Reed was on target again on the 27th minute as the frantic action continued, heading home from a corner to bring the scores level...
