CITY of Liverpool secured a deserved three points against Runcorn Linnets courtesy of a goal in each half from MJ Monaghan and Jack Hazlehurst respectively.
The Purps took the lead when left back Zac Aley surged forward and curdled a delicious ball into the Linnets box.
Forward Josh Quarless challenged for it in the air, with the ball breaking for new signing Monaghan to score a low finish from the right of the box against the club he recently signed from. It was almost a quickfire double as moments later George Hassal...
