AFTER a flourish of Colne chances in the first 15 minutes, the first goal surprisingly came against the run of play.
A beautiful ball in from the right-hand side was met by the head of Jamie Rainford.
On 25 minutes GNE doubled their lead when Keaton Mulvey finished low into the bottom corner.
The second half was very stale until with 20 minutes to go Colne keeper Hakan Birch let the ball run past him setting Jamie Rainford through to score.
