■ LANCING were looking to secure their first double of the season and were within a couple of minutes of achieving this when a controversial decision denied them.
Lancing had led from the 30th minute when a fine lob over the Whitehawk defence by skipper Finn Daniels-Yeoman fell perfectly for Lorenzo Lewis to connect with his left foot as the ball dropped over his shoulder and hammer the ball into the net.
