LOWLY Grantham gave inform Scarborough a tough battle, but two goals in a four-minute spell gave the home side the points to see them climb to fourth.
The visitors made a bright start, with Jon Wafula twice going close, then Cam Wilson and Jake Day both did likewise for Boro.
The deadlock was broken in the 26th minute when a long throw into the box from Ash Jackson was headed home by Day.
Four minutes later they doubled their lead when Brad Plant headed in a Luca Colville cross.
