AFTER seven hours and 34 minutes without scoring, Stratford Town finally ended their goal drought as Will Dawes’ second-half strike fired them to a victory over Tamworth.
The Bards had not scored since Joe Magunda – now with Nuneaton Borough – found the net in the 1-1 draw at Leiston on December 14, and after the first half ended 0-0, it seemed as though their poor run in front of goal showed no signs of coming to an end.
