Drama but Saints hold on

BRACKLEY TOWN 3 FARSLEY CELTIC 2

A FOURTH successive home game delivered a win for Kevin Wilkin’s side to narrow the gap to leaders Gateshead in a match with late drama.
After a windblown first half an hour, Brackley were ahead on 39 minutes with a well-worked goal clinically finished by Matt Lowe for the first of his two goals. Ellis Myles’ inviting cross saw Lowe’s header whistle into thenet giving Kyle Trennery no chance.
Farsley had spurned a fine chance as Danny Lewis saved from Jimmy Spencer in rare first half goalmouth action.
