■ THE battle of the Rovers ended with the honours even. The first chance of the game fell to the home side, with Charles getting his head to a cross from Stratton which was well saved, as was the rebound.
Barton drew into the game, and took the lead in first-half stoppage time, with Max Ryan opening the scoring.
The lead was shortlived, as DeMatos curled in with the outside of his foot from the flank, maybe a cross but a cracking finish!
