BATER’S MANGOS RETURN

MANGOTSFIELD United have welcomed back Phil Bater as their new manager following the sacking of Ray Johnston.
The Mangos are fighting for survival in the Southern League Division One South.
Johnston, appointed in the summer, was axed this week with the club believing “a fresh outlook is needed to reinvigorate the team”.
They moved quickly to re-appoint Bater, who previously managed Mangotsfield from 2009 to 2012 when they reached the FA Cup fourth round qualifying and play-offs.
Bater most recently managed Larkhall Athletic for four years.
