TWO goals in two minutes – twice – gave the league leaders a well deserved three points.
Gateshead showed exactly why they are top of the North and ripped apart Alfreton’s defence. The Heed’s first goal was a phenomenal team effort, with devastating passing through the defence, culminating in an easy finish for Cedwyn Scott.
Scott doubled his and his side’s tally moments later as he cut on to his right and fired past George Willis in the Alfreton goal.
