■ VCD started brightly and after two minutes were gifted an opening goal when a blocked shot was running through to Sam Freeman in the Grinstead goal, but he inexplicably fumbled the ball leaving an easy tap in for Courtney Barrington.
Grinstead started to get a grip on the game and began to threaten with a number of attacks, but found Sam Mott in the VCD goal in excellent form.
