BIDEFORD got off to the perfect start in the second minute when Joe Charles laid the ball back for Louis Jagger-Kane to opening the scoring.
Alex Moyes and Matty Buchan both had shots narrowly missing the target, before Charles nicked the ball off a Slimbridge midfielder, broke through the middle of the defence and slotted home for a delightful goal on the half hour.
