FORMER Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk has departed relegation-haunted Northern Counties East outfit Clipstone by mutual consent after just four months in charge.
He parted company with the Cobras immediately following Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat by Nostell Miners Welfare.
The result left Clipstone in the bottom three of Division One after nine successive defeats.
Funk, who had previously managed Rainworth Miners Welfare, Long Eaton United, Scarborough and AFC Mansfield, leading several of them to promotion, was appointed last November.
